The Blades’ clash against Crawley tonight has been called off following a 1pm pitch inspection.
Local referee Anthony Tankard conducted the inspection, watched by Crawley boss Richie Barker and Blades groundsman, Glenn Nortcliffe.
Player safety was the main concern but thawing snow had waterlogged the pitch with further snow forecast later this afternoon.
A new date will be announced at a later date.. Tickets purchased for the game will be valid for the new date.
